If your vehicle is damaged in an accident Commercial Colours will look after the repair process from start to finish. We are the only commercial vehicle body shop in the North Wales and North West area fully equipped to deal with even the heaviest of commercial vehicle accidents.
After an accident we will arrange collection of your vehicle, even if it is unroadworthy. It is in your best interest to move any damaged vehicles to Commercial Colours as soon as possible to avoid incurring storage charges whilst the insurance claim in being processed.
Our friendly and efficient administration staff have years of experience in dealing with insurance companies and have built up good working relationships with their engineers. Norwich Union, AXA, Royal & Sun Alliance and Quinn Direct, plus we carry out work for Zurich, Allianz Cornhill, Brit, Ensign, NFU and many of the commercial accident management networks. With just few details from yourselves we can speed up authorisation for repair work to proceed.

We specialise in the accident repairs to any type of commercial vehicle.
Our fully trained staff have the expertise and years of experience in accident repair work from the smallest to largest of commercial vehicles. We use the latest methods of repair and are constantly updating our workshop equipment in line with requests from insurance companies and the latest technology. We also offer continuous training to our staff in repair methods.
Our fully equipped workshop includes the following items of equipment
- 40' Josam chassis frame alignment system and heat inductor with lazer measuring for multi-axle vehicles for straightening twisted or bent LGV/HGV chassis.
- Josam cab repair bench for damaged cab shells. The bench allows us to realign the floor and cab mounting points, pull pillars upright and renew panels, it often saves on the cost of replacing expensive cab shells.
- Korek floor mounted heavy duty jig systems for vans and 4 x 4’s for realigning twisted or impact damaged vehicles. Chassis sections can be reworked into their original positions without the need for replacing complete chassis'.
- Tig, mig, spot and aluminium welding
- Steel sheet and aluminium cutting and fabrication equipment for making replacement panels for buses and coaches
Together with the experience of our painters, computerised paint matching and mixing scheme and our 18m low bake commercial vehicle spray booth the paint finish on your repaired vehicle will be to pre-accident standard.
On completion of repairs we can arrange our sign writer to make and apply decals to your vehicle, or if you would prefer to use your own sign writer we can liaise with them.
On all insurance work the final invoice for the repair will be forwarded direct to your insurance company who will pay us directly (excluding excess or VAT applicable). This means you do not have to pay for the repairs yourself and wait for your insurance company to reimburse you.
