New vehicle painting
We utilise fully computerised paint mixing schemes provided by Glasurit or PPG. Both processes are fully EPA compliant and result in a factory finish quality on brand new or resprayed commercial vehicles.
Prior to painting (truck for example) the vehicle is stripped down to the bare chassis and cab, the chassis is then de-waxed by steam cleaning with detergents. Once dried off the chassis is thoroughly 'scotched' from one end to another, the cab, grille, air deflector kit, is abraded with '400' sand paper. Plastic bumpers, wheel arches, skirts and step panels are also 'scotched' and prepared with plastic primer. Once masked and cleaned off the chosen process is applied and baked in one of our three spray booths.
